So, the Lesson Here Is..

...if you're a tin-pot third-world dictator, one way or another, they're gonna get ya.

Noriega extradited to France

Next up? Venezuela? Probably not.

At least in liberal democracies they take a more nuanced approach.

I wonder if Noriega will get the Ayatollah Khomeini's old apartment.

France sure does have a thing for deposed dictators, don't they. It's an interesting policy and I question the political astuteness of out Leaders considering we haven't jumped in to this lucrative industry.

I mean, wouldn't you love to see Mugabe exiled to say,Churchill,Manitoba for his last few years on Earth? It'd be nice to see him spend a few years in a COLD place.

And Chavez, the Venezuelan NDP leader with the 40% pay hike, wouldn't he look good up there keeping Mugabe company?

Geez, there are SO many more deserving folks out there, there's the potential to turn the foundering economy of the Keystone Province right around!

Oh, and it's nice to see the British Leaders locked in a passionate threesome, very civilized, dontcha know.

Churchill is too easy to escape from. I've always favoured Alert, on Ellesmere Island as a the best place for dictators to spend their forced retirement.
