Is Harper set to move against the CRTC?
I've never understood how a supposed democracy could survive with an agency that decides for us what we get to watch on TV.
Of course, the leftards of the world are always afraid of competing ideas. After all, if all you've ever been exposed to is rabid anti-Americanism from the CBC, and years of libtard policy development, you might not realize how Canadians got the reputation we have with some Americans. How many of you remember Chretien's infamous remarks in the days following 9/11, asshole that he was. Chretien's words did not go unnoticed, not even by many Canucks.

Competing ideas aren't a problem, they make knowledge stronger. It's lies and hatred that are the problem, as they make people stupider and less informed, which runs contrary to the point of a news channel. Call it a propaganda channel, and then it's not a lie.

How many hours a week to you spend watching Fox News and on what basis do you assume the proposed Sun TV will be a mirror of Fox News? It'd be nice if you could give several examples from your weekly Fox News watching of the "lies and hatred" you leftards are so fond of claiming, too, but I'm betting you can't because you never watch it.
Any way you cut it, the leftards in Canada are terrified that some voice other than their own is going to gain it's place in the media main street, so they have created and bought hook line and sinker into this neat little propaganda package against Sun TV. Without any evidence what so ever, they are promoting a big lie that goes as follows: "Fox News is hateful, Sun TV will be the same and the proof of all that is that one time about a year ago Harper had lunch with Rupert Murdock". Now you talk about making people stupider. With some on your side of the aisle, that just ain't possible.
Even some prominent leftie bloggers have seen through the stupidity on your side of the aisle and realizes you have shot yourselves in the foot by screaming and clamoring for censorship non-stop for months now. Well done, leftards. We see your true colours.
