Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah! Nah!

Evicted by UAE, Ottawa secures alternate staging base in Kuwait
"The Canadian Forces have inked a deal with Kuwait for a new staging base to transport equipment from Kandahar and support its new training mission in Afghanistan."
[---]
"The new Kuwait hub, actually access to two ports and a military airport and a civilian airfield, will house more than 200 Canadian troops at its eventual peak, according to Defence Minister Peter MacKay.

That will be near the end of this year – after September, when equipment is being shipped home from the Kandahar combat mission just as a 950-strong training mission in Kabul gears up to full strength.

“We’ll have access to hangars, the airbase itself will provide runways, refuelling, maintenance, and we will have some barracks there which we’re sharing, right now, with some American forces,” Mr. MacKay said in a telephone interview.

Mr. MacKay, who was in Kuwait City to attend the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the militaries of the two countries, noted that it’s for access to facilities – a military airfield, a military port, a civilian port, and the local civilian airport – not to build a new base."
I wonder. Any landing rights at Canadian airports in the deal? And how many Canadian leftie heads are exploding?

And while I'm at it, this is how border disputes are settled by civilized countries, folks.
