I Readily Admit...
...I know nothing about physics. I flunked high school physics way back in the 1960s and have gotten along just fine without it. But this just blows my mind and makes me even more convinced that Atheists are wrong and there must be a Intelligent Creator, call him/her/it God, a Cosmic Force or whatever you like. The more science uncovers the more unanswered questions there are to ask.

Er... not exactly. Indeed we know a little, but each new thing we learn removes the Intelligent Creator from another place.
But there is one thing physics will never tackle, and that is the belief. Atheists and religious folks meet on both sides of that barrier, where both sides get stuck, because you cannot neither prove nor disprove what is believed...
Au contraire my friend. Each new thing we learn brings us closer to the creator, not further from him/her/it. Or at the very least diminishes our sense of our own importance and capability. Every time we uncover something we find more mystery.

Eons ago, when I was in college, I was fortunate enough to attend a guest lecture of former NASA astronaut Jim Lovell. (Apollo 13 "Houston, we have a problem.")
Fascinating man, an intellectual and scientific elite. After he'd finished his lecture, he opened the lecture up for A&A.
One student asked him if he thought that humanity would find a way around Einstein's speed limit, the velocity of light.
Lovell replied unhesitatingly yes. Tomorrow, 10 years, a century, a thousand years, whatever the time between us and this profound discovery, it will make interstellar travel possible, it will be, scientifically speaking, humanity's graduating from childhood to adulthood.
The known unknowns and the unknown unknowns, as Donald Rumsfeld put it. Mind-boggling indeed!
