A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. You may have notice the Canadian lamestream media is having a festival/extravaganza in honour of Jack Layton on the first anniversary of his death.
What did the guy accomplish in his life? He was a city Councilor in Toronto for a while, which I suppose might make such an event appropriate in the City of Toronto. He led the federal NDP to it's best showing ever, but the NDP has never been anything but third place, most often a distance third place, until after he became so sick, which I think may have helped the party achieve second place.
Sure, the guy had cancer and died at a relatively young age, and for that I have some sympathy, but was he and his record really that important to the whole country. The media seems to think so. (Wretch)
