A stubble jumper is a prairie farmer. I'm from Saskatchewan and my dad was a farmer, so the name is apt. "Redneck" needs no explanation. It's anyone who disagrees with a lunatic leftie. My blog is mostly about the Middle East but other issues also catch my eye and get me going. I monitor comments to keep out trolls and lunatic lefties. Anyone who is zealously anti-American and anti-democracy in the Middle East is NOT welcome.

The unspeakable, incomprehensible hyper-tuned magnificence of all Creation, without an omniscient, omnipotent Creator?! That just doesn't make any sense to me.
I agree. Besides that,I think the two who argued against the resolution were far more interesting and far more deep. The other two just didn't seem capable of deep thought.
And, I might add, every new scientific discovery and advance creates new questions, so I don't think we'll ever have it figured out.
Speaking of which, how much global warming have you had down there this month?
Up here in the searing heat where the land is supposed to be turning into a barren dessert, we are close to record snowfall. More is predicted this week, and the weatherman is always right when it's bad stuff they are predicting.
And that's after a record rainfall last summer.
We lucked out on that big mid-Atlantic storm, with it going mostly south of us...we ended up getting cold, blustery rain.
That rain aside, it's been an unseasonably cold March, with only a couple days of teaser spring weather. Today's forecast is 30's, gusty winds and rain/snow showers. No near-term plans to pack away gloves, scarves, sweaters, etc. :-(
